FAREWELL, CHOPE-DOLLARS. HELLO, GRABCOINS

Since Chope joined the Grab family, we've been bringing our dining experiences closer together, and finding more ways to reward you when you dine out.

As part of this evolution, we'll be saying farewell to Chope-Dollars. From 15 October 2026, Chope-Dollars will no longer be issued for bookings made on Chope.

The good news is that you can continue to get rewarded when you book through Grab Dine Out, where you'll earn GrabCoins that you can use across Grab, from dining and deliveries to rides and more.

Why is Chope discontinuing the issuance of Chope-Dollars?

Now that Chope is part of the Grab family, our goal is to offer a more rewarding experience across the Grab ecosystem.

By booking through Grab Dine Out, you can earn GrabCoins and enjoy more ways to earn and use rewards across dining out, food delivery, rides and more. It's a single rewards experience that goes further.

When is the last day I can earn Chope-Dollars?

You can continue earning Chope-Dollars for eligible Chope bookings attended before 15 October 2026. This means the final day to earn Chope-Dollars is 14 October 2026.

If you amend or reschedule your booking and attend it by 14 October 2026, you will still earn Chope-Dollars, subject to the usual eligibility requirements.

Want to keep earning rewards after 14 October? Book through Grab Dine Out to earn GrabCoins on every eligible completed booking.

Can I already earn GrabCoins on restaurant bookings?

Yes! You can already earn GrabCoins on eligible restaurant bookings made through Grab Dine Out. Remember to make your booking through the Grab app, as bookings made on Chope will not earn GrabCoins.

I've already made a reservation for 15 October 2026 or later. Will I still receive Chope-Dollars?

Yes. If you made your reservation before 15 September 2026 for a dining date on or after 15 October 2026, we'll automatically credit the applicable Chope-Dollars to your Chope account on 15 October 2026. No further action is required from you.

Will my existing Chope-Dollars still be valid?

Absolutely. Your existing Chope-Dollars remain available and can still be used to redeem rewards from the Chope-Dollars catalogue after 15 October 2026.

We'll also share more exciting ways for you to make full use of your balance on that date, together with all the information you need to choose the option that works best for you.

What will happen to my Chope membership tier?

Your Chope membership tier will remain active until 14 October 2026. Until then, you can continue earning Chope-Dollars on eligible bookings according to your current tier benefits.

From 15 October 2026, Chope membership tiers and their associated benefits will end. You can continue earning rewards on eligible restaurant bookings made through Grab Dine Out.
