Sumō-Ji is a modern izakaya and sake bar that focuses on comfortable yet modern Japanese dishes. Built upon the concept of Ichi-go Ichi-e, Sumō-Ji is offering a wholesome dining experience that reminds people to cherish any gathering that they may take part in.


In the restaurant, we cure, smoke and age most of our meat selections and cook over a charcoal grill with binchotan. We embrace the concept of social dining experience focus on lifestyle dining concept and shareable small dishes that let everyone have a taste of our menu selections. To elevate the guests' dining experience, we offer our meticulously curated in-house signature cocktails, selections of Japanese sake, Japanese beer, and Japanese spirits. Both the food and drinks are made and presented to highlight the best of freshest quality ingredients and preparation techniques that touch upon the modern approach of Japanese cuisine. With the intention for the guest to immerse themselves in a new approach to the eclectic Japanese dining experience. 

The restaurant is divided into three sections. First entering through a mesmerizing hallway then greeted with a modern Japanese izakaya interior design and ambiance. The dining experience starts from the open-air dining area, the izakaya bar to have a special curated omakase menu, and the bar in which guests can enjoy lovely drinks after a lovely meal.
