The heart of any home is its kitchen, and SIRI HOUSE exemplifies this connection. Quince represents the most thoughtful elements of modern dining, serving simple, delicious food made with care and responsibility. The Mediterranean-inspired, produce driven menu makes generous use of the season’s offerings, keeping the experience, as well as the flavours, fresh and frequent. For the return of Quince at SIRI HOUSE, helmed by Chef Charlie Jones, the focus is on the woodfire oven and grill: smoking, grilling, and roasting over open flames honors the most ancient of cooking methods to fragrant, flavourful effect. A woodfire oven is the standout of any kitchen, and Quince is no exception – extending the potential with the unique flavour of wood. Meats, seafood, vegetables, and even desserts all bear the mark of the grill—gorgeous char, smoky notes, the lingering sizzle of perfectly rendered fat—making for a full-sensory eating experience that speaks directly to our primal side, albeit beautifully presented.
