Driven by the aim to deliver the taste of authentic Thai food created by traditional methods of cooking, Paka Authentic Thai Restaurant was set up by Top Chef Thailand finalist Chef Jukkrapoom “Poom” Boonyakom together with Master Chef Thailand judge ML Kwantip Devakula.

Drawing from the ancient recipes provided by both chefs, the restaurant serves a fanfare of simple yet delicious dishes that are guaranteed to impress. With a strong focus on fresh and organic greens and vegetables sourced from the farmers of Thailand Young Farmers, the restaurant strongly supports organic farming.

For a fresh take on a traditional classic, order the Somtum. Here at Paka Authentic Thai Restaurant, the Somtum is cooked in the traditional central Thailand way by eliminating string beans and replacing them with raw bananas and served alongside flavourful purple rice mixed with coconut milk and salty pork. Another tasty remake of a beautiful dish is the restaurant’s Green Curry. Topped with short ribs and smoked eggplant, this fragrant dish has a wonderfully smoky flavour that enhances the taste of the curry and spices. Other noteworthy items on the menu include the Fried Free Range Chicken and Yhum Nam Prik Kapi.
