From the folks behind Thonglor’s beloved Rabbit Hole bar comes this unique restaurant serving up the best Thailand has to offer. Located in a dimly-lit shophouse with elegant dark wood interiors, diners can watch as the talented team of chefs - led by Riley Sanders - prepare and plate dishes. Almost all the produce here are sourced locally and used in dishes that aim to showcase the best culinary aspects of Thailand.

Guests are offered a choice of 6 or 9-course tasting menus highlighting local produce prepared with international techniques and influences. The menu constantly evolves to reflect the highest quality, seasonal, or most interesting ingredients throughout the year. The result is a creative, ingredient-driven style of cooking that remains true to Thai flavors while exploring the possibilities of cooking with Thai ingredients innovatively.

The Toasted Rice Bread, a crowd favorite, features organic red rice from Surin province combined with sticky rice flour, toasted rice water, and fermented red rice, giving the bread rich rice flavor. It’s topped with an emulsion of brown butter cooked with garlic and yellow chili, then finished with dehydrated salted egg and toasted sticky rice powder- an expression of rice with modern technique and influences. This represents the cooking of Canvas - refined, creative, innovative, and in a category of it’s own. (Feb 2019)
