Bangkok’s dining scene has just gotten hotter, thanks to the entry of the critically beloved Akira Back. The ultra-contemporary establishment takes its name from its highly celebrated chef and founder, Akira Back. Born in Korea and raised in Aspen, Colorado, Chef Akira Black has been lauded for by critics and foodies for his interpretations of Asian fare that embody style and culinary excellence.

Located on the 37th floor of the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, high above the bustling crowds, Akira Back is a culinary refuge for anyone seeking a lovely refined meal. This dramatically lit restaurant, decked in rich deep hues of black and gold, comprises four different venues – a main dining area, sushi bar, omakase bar, and four private dining rooms that boast panoramic vistas of the Bangkok skyline with floor-to-ceiling windows.
