Description
Mama San is a restaurant like no other in Bali, as one of the best known restaurants in probably all of Bali - Mama San is famous for its street food fare served in a funky, comfortable and family friendly environment. Many a blog have featured the famous painting of a lady that adorns the wall in the main dining room as the restaurant's (official/unofficial) mascot! Think Thai Fish Cakes, Massaman Curry and Lemongrass Chicken when you think of Mama San. Not to be one behind the curve though - it recently launched its Mama San Bar Menu on the second floor serving up the freshest of sashimi and other Japanese inspired seafood items - we absolutely loved it. "At Mamasan you can step into colonial Britain in Shanghai during the 1920s, with marble top mah-jong tables and oversized tan leather Chesterfields, in a purpose designed industrial high ceilinged warehouse. Colourful displays of retro inspired flowers tower up to vintage clocks and a Chinese patterned mirror.
