The signature Japanese restaurant at the Intercontinental Resort (Jimbaran, South Kuta) Bali is an award-winning and stylish venue, long popular on the island for its authentic and contemporary Japanese cuisine. KO prides itself on authentic Japanese cuisine, and having its own wing in the hotel, it excels in combining a subtle infusion of Balinese architecture and Japanese aesthetics. Open for dinner only, KO offers three distinct dining concepts, which diners can enjoy in their minimalist-style dining environment and accessed by open-air walkways and enchanting Japanese gardens.
The Teppanyaki room promises an interactive culinary experience, where chefs cook grilled Japanese specialities at two sit-up Teppanyaki counters, entertaining with theatrical culinary flair on an open grill right before your eyes. For more discreet dining, be it for families or corporate groups, the ultra-private Tatami Dining Room offers à la carte menus in traditional Japanese ‘Tatami’ style, seating 20. The restaurant offers an informal yet sophisticated dining room, the perfect place to savour the freshest sushi, sashimi and tempura, and an assortment of Japanese salads, meats, fish dishes and other delicacies. The Cocktail Lounge is a relaxed spot with chilled-out music for pre- or post-dinner drinks. It is the place to indulge in an extensive menu of Sake-based cocktails, and hot and cold Sakes, from the restaurant's exclusive range, as well as a selection of premier Japanese beers. For those looking for a more intimate setting, dining at the Japanese-style garden terrace is also an option.
Diners can also explore their interesting degustation menus paired with Sake cocktails or Sake beverages, created by the Master Chef, and KO also offers different promotions for their menus twice a week.
