Chinese New Year Yu Sheng Promotion!

Usher in the Year of the Dog with Mo’mor Izakaya’s very colourful fruity yu sheng!

Bucking the trend of showcasing only vegetables, the Healthy Salmon and Fruit Yu Sheng features up to 12 different types of fruits. Each fruit offers a refreshing bite and accompanying the fruits are thick slices of salmon sashimi.

Also available is the Eight Happiness Gold Rush Yu Sheng and Golden Lobster Yu Sheng. Both feature the same 12 fruits as the marquee ingredients, and come with added indulgence such as sword fish, ama ebi, Hokkaido scallop and salmon sashimi. The pairing of fruits with sashimi may seem a bit odd at first, but it is one that works remarkably well.

Flavoured with a sweet homemade plum sauce, all yu sheng is made using olive oil is used instead of peanut or corn oil for a healthy spin. Five spice powder is not used so as to allow the natural flavours of the ingredients to shine through!

Chinese or Lunar New Year is one of Singapore’s most anticipated cultural celebrations and a remarkable season of gatherings over auspicious dishes and unbridled feastings, heralding the strengthening of relationships and good fortune. At Sofitel Singapore City Centre, its signature restaurant Racines has been feting diners a magnifique ensemble of traditional and much beloved French fare by Executive Chef Jean-Charles Dubois since it opened its doors in October 2017.
